A grist mill on the Cahaba River

Trussville was founded in 1821 by Warren Truss, who built a grist mill on the Cahaba River.  It spans Jefferson and St. Clair counties and covers 35.18 square miles.[1]

The 2020 census counted 26,123 residents in this Birmingham suburb.[1]
